It's hard to pick just one movie. I'll list some of my favorites and the reason why.
*The Notebook--Everyone should have a love story like that.
*Taxi Driver--My late husband loved that movie. He used to do some of the lines DeNiro did and my daughters and I still do today. "You talking to me"!!!
*On Golden Pond--One of my Parents favorites.
*Christmas Story--Can't wait to see it again.

Toddler Bed
Along with the toddler bed, we found a 4 piece bedding set. He really loves watching Sponge Bob Square Pants so we got him that set. Had a comforter, fitted and flat sheet and a pillow case. He was just so excited about the whole thing.
His Mom told me when he woke up, he asked if Grandma Gibbs was up. She thinks he was dreaming because after he said it, he went back to sleep. So funny!!

I don't think I could just pick one song. My musical tastes go from classic rock, old and new country, alternative, rap and top forty.

Simplicity Newport Crib Recall
When my Grandson was born, we bought him a Simplicity Newport Crib. It was a 4-in-1 bed, meaning it was a crib, toddler bed, youth bed and dresser. It was adorable. Well they were made in China and there was a massive recall on them. Simplicity went out of business but the Consumer Protection Agency said the store where purchased, should take them back.
The recall was due to the mattress support snapping or bending and it had caused several injuries and even a death. That really scared us and we did not want to take any more chances with it.
Yesterday, we returned the bed to Walmart and was given a gift card for the total purchase price. Was amazed that Walmart would do that but am very thankful.
Ian, my Grandson is now the proud owner of a toddler bed. Will write more about that later. He was very excited when his Aunt Amy and Mom were assembling it. He was a good helper for being just 2 years old. He couldn't wait to go to bed last night.

The Beginning
I enjoy reading blogs and thought I would start one of my own. My Grandson lives with me so he should help to create some interesting stories. Have a great day and hope to see you back here soon.
